Sessions last 50 minutes. This is the standard length for CBT and gives us enough time to explore what’s going on for you, work through tools and strategies together, and plan what feels helpful for the week ahead.
"How long are sessions?"

Everyone is different. Some people come for a short block of sessions, while others prefer longer‑term support. NICE guidance offers general ranges for different difficulties, but we decide the pace together based on your needs, goals, and what feels manageable. We review progress regularly so therapy stays focused and supportive.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can reschedule or cancel your session up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend, the full session fee is charged. This helps me keep the space available for others who may be waiting for support.
"What happens if I need to cancel ?"

Yes ! Remote therapy is widely used across the NHS and private practice, and many people find it just as effective as in‑person work. It offers flexibility, comfort, and accessibility, allowing you to attend sessions from a space where you feel safe and settled. The therapeutic relationship and the work we do together remain at the heart of the process.
"Is remote therapy
effective ?"

I don’t offer formal diagnoses.
However, I do offer evidence‑based screening questionnaires for:
-
ADHD (Adult)
-
OCD
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Trauma‑related symptoms
-
Sleep difficulties (including insomnia)
-
Autistic traits (Adults)
These screenings are not diagnostic, but they can help you understand whether your experiences fit common patterns and whether a full assessment or specialist referral might be helpful. They can also guide our work together by highlighting areas where CBT may be especially supportive.
